Kabirdas Prasiddh Dohe, the famous couplets of Kabirdas
Ichchha mit gaee, chinta mit gaee, manava upekshit ho gaya.
jisako kuchh nahin chaahie vah shahanashaah.
Maatee kumhaar se kahatee hai, tum moye ko kya kuchalate ho.
ek din aisa aaega, main raund doonga
Maala pherat jug bhaya, pher mat pher
man ke bhaav de, man ke man ko pher
Koee tinaka nahin udaana chaahie, jo pairon ke neeche ho.
jab bhee yah aankhon mein jaata hai, bahut dard hota hai.
Mainne duhkh mein yaad karate hue khushee mein praarthana nahin kee.
kahain kabeer ta daas kee, jisane sunee
Saeen, mujhe itana de do
main bhee bhookha na rahoon, saadhu na bhookh
Dheere-dheere, re ne mana kar diya, dheere-dheere sab kuchh hota hai.
maalee ne ek sau ghade ko paanee pilaaya, is prakaar phal aae
Kabeera ek nar andha hai, vah guru se kahata hai.
hari roothe ek guru hain, aur guru roothe shikshak nahin hain.
Maaya mar gaee, mera man nahin, mrt shareer.
aasha trshna nahin maree, kahe kabeer daas
Raat kho gaee, din kho gaya
hera paida hueen amol, badalo kodee.
Har koee dukh mein praarthana kar sakata hai, khushee mein kuchh nahin kar sakata.
jo koee bhee khushee mein praarthana kar sakata hai.
